    It is the summer break for Canterlot High. Sonata is sneaking towards the school in an early morning. She was sent by Adagio to look for an emerald that holds unrelenting power, and Adagio wanted it so she could open a portal to go back to their home. Adagio sensed its presence deep down inside the school, a secret area, that was not even made by the school itself, it was a room that "blended" with the school, so it looked like a classroom. Now, though, it looks eerie, since no one really thought to look in that room. Sonata's clothing is the same as her formal clothing in Rainbow Rocks, only with black stockings (you know, those looong socks, similar to Sugar Coat's pants), and the same sort goes for the arms, going from half of the hands, to the shoulders. She has a small speaker in her left ear to communicate with Adagio to guide her through the school. So Sonata sneaks around to look for a window thin enough to break easily, without causing too much noise. She finally finds one, breaks it, and jumps in. After jumping in, she feels something move behind her very fast. She quickly turns to see it, but only managed to catch a millisecond of it's shadow pass by. "Wh-Who's there?" she said nervously. She waits a couple of seconds, then keeps going. The school is strangely quiet, and dark. "This place is really creepy in the summer." she says, expecting that it wouldn't have felt so bad to look for such an object. Adagio starts talking to her on the mic (Adagio:"Hey, are you in yet?". (Sonata:"Yeah, this place is giving me the creeps. Hopefully we find the gem soon. I feel like something is lurking around the school, I don't know, maybe it's just me being paranoid, but Jesus, it was before I even had a chance to have a good look in the room I first broke in to think it was scary, then I felt something pass behind me." (Adagio: "That's strange... Don't worry about it, just keep looking, but don't let your guard down." (Sonata: "Alright." Sonata keeps walking through the room, then exits it, leading to one of the halls. (Sonata:"Huh, the lights in the hall are on." (Adagio:"It's probably the janitors that left it on, or either the principle or vice principle that walk around the school planning things for the coming year." (Sonata:"Okay. Where's the stairs that lead to the basement?" (Adagio:"Which room did you just exit?" (Sonata: *looks back at the door to see the number* "Uh, A10." (Adagio:"Okay, the direction you are facing the door in, go to the left, and you should see a door saying 'Floor 0'." (Sonata:"What a name... Adds more to the creeps." (Adagio:"How?" (Sonata:"Never mind. What's Aria doing?" (Adagio:"Missing you." (Aria:"Adagio, I'm going to f-" *call breaks up* (Sonata:"Uhm, Aria, please don't flip out on Adagio making her to lose communications with me. This place, I don't have a good feeling about it." *walking towards the door leading to the basement* *Sonata taps the speaker in her ear to receive the call again* (Adagio:"Okay I'm back. Sorry about that. Can you hear me?" (Sonata:"Whew. Yes, I'm opening the door." *gets in* (Adagio:"Okay, now go down the stairs." (Sonata:"Duh." *walks down the stairs* She reaches the underground level. (Sonata:"Huh, I don't remember there being any sort of classes on the basement floor." (Adagio:"There isn't." (Sonata:"Okay, so why are there halls with lockers and doors leading to classrooms?" (Adagio:"I think it expanded it's blending ability. That floor was meant only for maintenance." (Sonata:"Ooookay. Now how do we find this thing if it is within the range of a whole floor?" (Adagio:"I guess just look through classes, but first, see if there is a unique door, like with something on it, or more worn down than the others. That can be a good hint, if not, then you might have to look through door by door, and if not that, locker by locker." (Sonata:"...And what if it isn't in the lockers either?" (Adagio:"I'll go there myself, but there was a reason why I sent you. The gem would create its own portals, and it would be a mess, so all three of us there would activate it. It's linked to us." (Sonata:"Okay, but that doesn't explain why YOU didn't go alone, plus, if it activates with the three of us, then why couldn't I bring you with me? Or Aria with me? Or Aria and you instead of me?" (Adagio:"Well, its linked to me the most than either of you, it can activate with just me, but not on the scale it would need to let us go through. I didn't go with you, well for the same reason. You with Aria, well, you two would get distracted doing other... Things..." (Sonata:"Alright, but you're exaggerating the thing with me and Aria." (Adagio:"No... I know you two better than you know yourselves. You would have gotten distracted by now either fighting or doing anything else that would have blown your position. I sent you instead of Aria, because she's so hesitant to do what I ask for." (Aria:"Shut it." (Sonata:"Well... Okay. Well, then I'm going to look for the room, I'll contact you when I find it." (Adagio:"Alright, I'll try to stay on as long as pos-"*static interruption in the speaker* (Sonata:"Hello?" *tapping the speaker* "Damn, Aria must have flipped over on her aga-" *same shadow passes by behind her* "Uhh... Hello? You know you're creeping-" *lights flicker* "...." *her eyes wide open, looks around, then taps the speaker faster*.

I did this story before, but was not open to the public, I only had shared it with a couple of friends, mostly CBear624 earlier in the year, around March. After just recently telling TheSonariaShipper some of the story, I thought about writing it again to release it to you all, since awhile ago, CBear624 drew a part from the story for me (but sadly deleted it after awhile ;-; ) and in the description saying that what I wrote was amazing, and that I was going to share it with all of you, so... Here I go now X3
